Last Resort Thrill Seekers
Three day Adventure Program Rafting, Cycling, Hiking & Bungee jumping The Last Resort is a magnificent inn located on Nepal’s northern border with Tibet, hence the “last” resort. This beautiful hotel is close by the precipitous Bhote Kosi* gorge which affords considerable height from which to fly into space on a bunjee cord. Even better, the raging river below is framed with deep green jungle and the spreading hills beyond decorated with terraced fields cultivated by the local farmers. It’s a spectacular scene. The hotel has been constructed with traditional Nepalese architecture in mind replete with attractive wood carving details many of which are actual antiques.
*”Bhote” is the Nepali word for “Tibetan” and “Kosi means river.

ITINERARY:
Day 01
Early morning drive from Kathmandu, about 3 hrs, to the Last Resort. Relax at the resort with options to either experience a Bungee jump into the gorge or swing on the highest, most death-defying swing in the world. The famous Canyon Swing at the Last Resort doesn't require a jump and yet provides a breathtaking 100 meters of free fall from a 160 meter height across a 240 meter arc of fall reaching estimate speeds of 150 kilometers an hour. The memory becomes tattooed to your life experiences, truly unforgettable! (Lunch, Dinner)
Day 02
Morning drive uphill toward the Tibet border and cycle downhill to the resort. After a rest and lunch trek uphill to a traditional Nepali village and return to the resort for a relaxing evening and dinner.
Day 03
After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu. Alternate trip; possible extension: A group of four people can extend their stay, engage a whitewater rafting team and drive to a launch site up river. From here you have an opportunity to crash and splash down the Bhote Kosi for about 2-3 hours. After rafting have lunch at the river bank and continue by minivan or car back to Kathmandu. Arrive Kathmandu in time for shopping in Thamel and an evening departure from the airport.
